Martin Kobler is a German career diplomat who is the current German Ambassador to Pakistan. He also served as Special Representative, Head of United Nations Support Mission in Libya from November 4th, 2015 to June 22nd of 2017.
Mr. Kobler, after his appointment to Pakistan, has been winning over the hearts of Pakistanis by blending with local people, visiting local eateries, traveling by train and promoting a positive image of Pakistan through his twitter account.

Martin Kobler took Twitter to share his own way of minimizing water consumption to highlight the crisis.

KOBLER ON UNTREATED SEWAGE DISPOSAL IN PAKISTAN:
Kobler also tweeted about the untreated sewage disposed in Karachi’s sea on a daily basis and its effect on Pakistan’s marine life.

KOBLER VISITING CHITRAL AND PESHAWAR:
He recently visited Chitral and Peshawar and this visit has been well received by people of KPK.
During the short trip, the ambassador took a walk through the old city, got himself a Chitrali Topi, had dinner with Imam of Shahi Masjid in Chitral, ate spicy food and got a haircut.

VISITING A LOCAL BARBER:
The ambassador posted his latest adventure of visiting roadside barber in Karachi and getting a haircut from him on Twitter.
He tweeted as saying, “getting a great haircut in the streets of #karachi!! so nice to meet the friendly barber Mohammed. he works here every day to support his wife and 6 children. Hope to see him again on my next trip!!”.

A LOCAL FOOD SHOP VISIT:
Kobler visited Punjab’s capital and stopped at an ordinary food shop for a plate of chicken biryani. He shared his experience by posting the tweet in Urdu.

Mr. Kobler visited Imam Bari after the attack on a shrine in Jhal Magsi and paid tribute to those who died in the attack.

Last but not the least he recently congratulated the country for electing a new government whilst talking in Urdu.
The German Ambassador began his message by telling the public that he applauds the public on behalf of the government of his home country for holding successful elections.
Furthermore, he stated that,
“Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the German government, I congratulate the people of Pakistan for holding a successful election,”

Furthermore, he concluded the message by saying that “Germany will always stand with Pakistan.”
The ambassador certainly seems to keep up his efforts for peace and prosperity even in his new position. And we surely appreciate his kind and friendly attitude towards Pakistan.
