The Kiki Challenge or In My Feelings challenge has overwhelmed the social media sites. There have been mishaps and epic flops as well.
Yet at the same time, it’s everywhere on my social media feed presumably yours as well.
Kiki Challenge has become all about jumping out of the car and dancing while it’s slowly moving, and driver has to shoot the video and upload it on social media.
Some online sources confirmed that the law of Egypt, Jordan, and UAE banned this version of kiki challenge.
After this challenge went viral, many Arabs participated in it; including celebrities and social media influencers like Yasmin Raes, Dina El Sherbeiny, Dora Zarouk, and Mohamed Mekawy.
According to a News report,warrants have been issued against three social media influencers in Abu Dhabi for taking part in the challenge, which “endangered their lives, offended public morals and violated the traffic law.”
These include driving a vehicle in a dangerous way, blocking the traffic, and using a mobile phone while driving.
Abu Dhabi public prosecution has reportedly declared the challenge as punishable offence that can result to imprisonment, fine or both.
UAE Authorities have warned that anyone caught doing this dance will be hit with Dhs-2000 fine, 23 black points on their license, and have their car impounded for 60 days.
